Emily Allard-Phillips, M.D.
Emily was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology awarded cum laude. She began medical school in 2016 at Emory University School of Medicine. During her time in medical school Emily was a mentor for third-year medical students on their ob/gyn and surgery clerkships and volunteered in the Atlanta community with various organizations such as the Special Olympics and the Police Athletic League (PAL), a nonprofit organization that creates athletic and academic activities built for the youth of the community to teach academic and social principles in a safe environment. She also served as vice president of a podcast focused on sharing the stories of surgeon’s journeys through medicine. She enjoys running, strength training, and group fitness classes as well as spending time outdoors with her Golden Retriever, Oakley. Emily has couples matched with her partner, Sam Epstein, who will be doing his residency training in the Internal Medicine department at the University of Florida.
