Requirements for MFM Fellowship Training
The University of Florida’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program is approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Our selection criteria are consistent with ACGME’s specialty-specific requirements as well as the University of Florida College of Medicine’s “Eligibility & Selection of Residents” guidelines.
Applicants for our program must be ABOG eligible and have graduated from an approved Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Foreign medical graduates must have a valid ECFMG certificate prior to the application receipt deadline. If a visa is required to study in the United States, the University of Florida will support only the J-1 visa.
Application Process
The University of Florida College of Medicine participates in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).
Applications for our program should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Please include the following information with your electronic application:
- Personal Statement
- Curriculum Vitae
- USMLE transcript
- Three letters of recommendation from physicians or faculty members who are thoroughly familiar with your work, one letter must be from the current program director
- CREOG annual exam scores – email to Nicole Marski, Interim Program Coordinator
