General Guidelines
ABOG required rotations are completed in the first 2 years ( except for outpatient MFM experience, which is completed longitudinally)
UF Required Rotations
- 6 months of Antepartum
- 9 months of Ultrasound
- 1 month of Fetal Echocardiography
- 2 months of L & D
- Longitudinal Outpatient Experience (ambulatory) – 13 work weeks of clinics across 3 years
- 2 months of Genetics (1 perinatal and 1 pediatric)
- 1 month of MICU
- 2 weeks of NICU
- 2 weeks of Transfusion Medicine
- 12 months of Research.
- 2 months of Electives; options include adult cardiology, perinatal pathology, fetal echo, OB anesthesia, and research
Courses
- Basic Training and Reproductive Medical Genetics sponsored by the University of South Carolina PGY 5 or 6 (UF Program required by the end of year 2)
- Stanford Statistics PGY 6 (UF Program required by the end of year 2)
- RDMS (PGY 6: physics, OB; PGY 7: fetal echo) (UF recommended)
