“I returned to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2020 following 2 years in practice as a Clinical Associate with the Duke University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

I am a native of Mobile, Alabama, where I received my undergraduate and medical degree from the University of South Alabama.  I completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida in 2017.  My professional interests include medical education, sexual health, PCOS, menopause, gynecologic surgery, postpartum/fourth trimester, and breastfeeding support.

I chose a career in women’s health because I enjoy helping women understand and not fear the processes that their bodies undergo throughout their lives.  I look forward to building long-term relationships with my patients from puberty to menopause and beyond.  I strive to create a comfortable environment where patients can speak freely to me about their health concerns.  My clinical practice covers comprehensive women’s health care from prevention to pregnancy and complex gynecologic issues. I work to provide the best evidence-based recommendations tailored to each woman’s individual goals.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our two small dogs.  We love to travel, spend time outdoors, and try new restaurants.  I am an avid proponent of personal fitness and enjoy running, yoga, and HIIT classes.  We are looking forward to taking advantage of the many opportunities for family fun and recreation that Gainesville and Florida have to offer!”
