About Richard A Boothby

My name is Richard A. Boothby, MD, and I am an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the University of Florida Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I earned my medical degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Following medical school, I pursued a residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Jacksonville. I then completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. I am board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and gynecology oncology, by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and have served in many leadership positions throughout my career.

My clinical interests include minimally invasive robotic radical surgery, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer and sentinel lymph node mapping in gynecologic cancers.

As a physician, my goal is to take excellent care of my patients, teach our residents and medical students and be a role model for those around me.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
