Sarah Evans, M.D.

Sarah was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and grew up in Okeechobee, FL.  She graduated from the University of Central Florida magna cum laude in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Microbiology, and began medical school at Florida State University in 2012.  As a student, Sarah served as Vice President of FSUCares, an organization that supports community health initiatives for the underserved community of Tallahassee, Florida and participated in a medical outreach to Filipinas, Panama.  She was awarded the FSU College of Medicine Mission Scholarship and the Leon C. Tully and Billy Tully Scholarship for her commitment to community service; she was elected to both the Gold Humanism Honor Society and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in her senior year.  Sarah enjoys traveling, baking, trying new restaurants, hosting board game nights, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her cat and dog.  Her husband, Jay, is a high school teacher.
