Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

During this rotation, the MIGS resident will focus on improving their minimally invasive surgical skills and learning the fundamentals of benign gynecologic procedures including patient positioning, instrumentation, and electrosurgery. Teaching will cover abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, leiomyomas, pelvic pain, etc. It is the goal of this rotation to expose Ob/Gyn residents to the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment selection, and perioperative considerations for complex problems in benign gynecology to care for patients safely and effectively and to refer those who require additional expertise.
