Lane Drury, M.D.

Lane was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate studies in 2014 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After her undergraduate years, Lane returned to Charlotte, where she worked as an Oncology Clinical Trials Coordinator at Levine Cancer Institute. During this time, she conducted research with leaders in Gynecologic Oncology. Lane received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina in Greenville in 2023. She continued her research throughout her medical education and presented original work at national conferences and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts. In Greenville, Lane also spent countless hours working as a peer recovery coach with Faces and Voices of Recovery (FAVOR) Greenville, an addiction recovery non-profit organization that serves people with substance use disorders and facilitates access to treatment. Lane is passionate about patient education, advocacy, and helping drive the field forward through research and innovation. Outside of medicine, Lane can be found spending time with her very close-knit extended family, exploring Gainesville with her Fiancé and golden retriever, or doing the occasional home DIY project.
