Kristin Briscoe, M.D.

Kristin was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2012 cum laude with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Chemistry and Spanish.  After graduation, she spent a summer working with Dow Agro Sciences to develop new, environmentally friendly techniques for DEET distribution. In the fall of 2012, Kristin began medical school at Indiana University where she  was elected as a senior to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During medical school, her research efforts focused on developing core outcome sets for interventions to prevent infection after cesarean delivery.  She also partnered with Timmy Global Health to organize a medical outreach for medical students throughout Indiana to Quito, Ecuador.  Kristin enjoys singing, water skiing, wake-boarding, slacklining, cooking, and running.  Her partner, Kevin Parikh, has joined the Mayo Clinic-Jacksonville Urology Residency Program.
