Linda S. Morgan attended college at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and received her B.S. degree in 1971. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, in 1979. She then went on to complete a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston from 1979-1981.
Dr. Morgan is the Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She was named the J. Wayne Reitz Professor of Gynecologic Surgery in the department in January of 2000, and now in 2013 she has been named as the Nell Bryant Kibler Professorship. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and Medical Director of Tumor Registry Shands Hospital. Her interests include treatment of gynecologic malignancies and reconstructive surgery in gynecology.
