Kathryn Stinson, M.D.

Kathryn Stinson, MD

Kathryn was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and raised in Kansas City. She is one of four children. Kathryn completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology magna cum laude. During medical school at the University of Florida, Kathryn was a member of the Surgical Subspecialty Student Interest Group, the Medical Student Section of AMA, and the Florida Medical Association. In addition, she volunteered at Equal Access and the Mobile Clinic, the student-run medical clinics that serve the indigent population of Gainesville.

On the basis of her outstanding scholastic performance and strong personal character, Kathryn was selected for membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys playing piano, cooking, and baking.
