During this rotation, the REI resident works in the faculty clinics to learn how to evaluate women with endocrine disorders and infertility. The REI resident spends time in the REI operating room performing hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures. They evaluate and treat complex cases of infertility and gynecologic endocrine disorders. The REI2 and 3 participate in in-vitro fertilization procedures, and advanced infertility/endocrine surgery. Regularly scheduled presentations are given to the medical students, other residents, and faculty during special endocrine conferences.
