Tina O’Shea, MD, is an assistant professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology in the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Dr. O’Shea earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Before returning back to Gainesville, Dr. O’Shea worked as a clinical associate at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

She chose a career in women’s health because she enjoys helping women understand, and not fear, the processes that their bodies undergo throughout their lives. Dr. O’Shea looks forward to building long-term relationships with her patients from puberty through menopause and beyond while creating a comfortable environment where patients can speak freely about their health concerns. Her clinical practice experience covers comprehensive women’s health care from prevention to pregnancy and complex gynecologic issues. It is her goal to provide the best evidence-based recommendations tailored to each woman’s individual goals.

Her professional interests include medical education, sexual health, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopause, gynecologic surgery, postpartum/fourth trimester, and breastfeeding support.
