Patricia L. (Patty) McKey, MSN, ARNP, is a Clinical Coordinator at the Women’s Center at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Ms. McKey holds dual licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida. She received her MSN here at the University of Florida College of Nursing and has been affiliated with Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1986. She received her BSN from Kent State University in 1978.

In her current position, Ms. McKey is responsible for gynecologic care of women at the UF Women’s Center at Springhill and at Women’s Health at the UF Medical Plaza. Her role as Clinical Coordinator has been to provide comprehensive, compassionate and high quality care to women in all age groups. She is also responsible for resident and medical student education. Ms. McKey also has experience in colposcopy, management of abnormal Pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding, vulvar dysplasia and urinary incontinence, and performs urodynamic studies.

Ms. McKey has served as an OB-GYN Nurse Practitioner in the Urodynamics, Colposcopy, Vulvar, Benign Gynecology, and Prenatal and Postpartum Clinics at the Women’s Health Group. Her wide range of clinical skills includes routine gynecologic examinations, urodynamic studies and evaluation, colposcopic examination of the cervix, management of abnormal bleeding, contraception management, and menopausal women. She also specializes in the management of gynecologic health care.

Ms. McKey has presented at local and national conferences on topics that include urinary incontinence and colposcopy. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the American Urogynecologic Society. She was recognized for her service with a Community Nursing Award.
